Radiation Therapy - Oncology # beds/rooms: 4 Exam rooms, 2 Truebeam Linear Accelerators, 1 Client CT Scanner

Average # of providers in the clinic/day: 1

Average # of patients/day: 25-35

Required Certifications: Radiologic Technologist Certification, American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), BLS

Common diagnosis / Types of patients: All cancer types

Experience or 'Must have' skills: ARIA, Varian TrueBeam - Years of Experience: 2 years; will consider a first time traveler with the right experience/qualifications

Job Duties:

• Prepare room and equipment including all necessary equipment, supplies and setup devices.
• Accurately deliver the prescribed and planned course of radiation treatments including verification of treatment and treatment doses, patient positioning and monitoring, imaging, and treatment delivery.
• Patient education.
• Documentation of patient treatments.
• Maintain detailed records in Aria and in Epic.
• Obtain appropriate port films on patients when prescribed.

Shifts & Scheduling: either Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or Warmup (if/when trained) 7am - 3:30pm

Is there a call or standby requirement? No

Floating Requirements: None

Scrub Color/Dress Code: Solid Colored Scrubs (no specific color)

How many shifts for orientation? 1 day Epic training, 1-2 weeks on the machine amongst therapists
