Description:
Prepare room and equipment, including all necessary supplies and setup devices.
Accurately deliver the prescribed and planned course of radiation treatments, including verification of treatment and treatment doses.
Position and monitor patients during treatments.
Perform imaging and treatment delivery.
Provide patient education regarding the radiation therapy process.
Document patient treatments and maintain detailed records.
Use ARIA and Epic for record keeping.
Obtain appropriate port films on patients when prescribed.
No weekend or holiday requirement.
There is no call or standby requirement.
Solid-colored scrubs are required, with no specific color assigned.
Orientation includes 1 day of Epic training and 1-2 weeks on the machine among therapists.
The facility allows the cancellation of up to 4 shifts during the 13-week assignment.
