Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Favorite Healthcare Program - University of Kansas.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
- 2+ years recent ortho/spine and Tele experience (within last 18 months) in a hospital setting, - Exp with 5:1 RN ratio, Background in General Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Orthopedics & Spine, Familiar with cellulitis, back pain, and kidney stones, Must be skilled with Heparin drips, TPN, PCA, and telemetry rhythm interpretation

Unit/Facility Details: Mixed patient acuity, some are post-surgical for ortho/spine with M/S/ Tele overflow.

Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend - Holiday Requirements: Based off unit needs

Floating Requirements: Will float to all acute care units

7 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
