Description

• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions addressing key areas such as language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capacities.
• Work collaboratively alongside physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to craft seamless care experiences.
• Provide education to patients and their families, equipping them with skills to support their progress beyond clinical appointments.
• Occasionally assist with inpatient evaluations and therapy, ensuring ongoing care consistency.
• Keep meticulous and timely documentation in compliance with all relevant guidelines.
• Regularly participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay at the forefront of speech-language pathology advancements.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
