CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CVOR Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 18 months of recent nursing experience, with a strong preference for those who have experience specifically in the cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting. Candidates should have proficiency in circulating open-heart cases.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation and management of the operating room for cardiovascular procedures.Circulate open-heart cases ensuring the highest standard of care.Collaborate effectively with surgical teams and provide support during operations.Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery.Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices within the operating room.QualificationsMinimum of 18 months recent nursing experience.Preferred experience in CVOR, specifically with circulating open-heart cases.Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Shift and On-Call RequirementsDay shift: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.On-call requirements will be discussed with the manager, including: 1-2 on-call shifts during weekdays from the end of the shift until 7:00 AM the next morning.One weekend call every six weeks (24 hours on Saturday and 24 hours on Sunday).One working shift on Saturday or Sunday every six weeks, typically coordinated with weekend call.Possible rotation on holiday call schedule if needed.Unit InformationPositioned within the cardiovascular operating room, this role is integral to the surgical process and patient outcomes.
