Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit/Intermediate Care/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to post-MI patients, including sheath pull, and manage postoperative vascular cases and GI bleeds.
• Manage diabetic ketoacidosis cases and titrate drips such as nitroglycerine, neo, and cardene as required.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
• Utilize BiPap and Cpap respiratory therapy equipment effectively.
• Perform telemetry monitoring and interpret EKG strips accurately.
• Participate in floating assignments when necessary to support unit operations.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with the ability to submit credentials upon request.
• At least one year of experience with stepdown patient care and titration of drips.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS, NIHSS certification preferred.
• Proficiency in using EPIC charting system.
• BSN is not required, but highly preferred for this role.
• Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
