Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit/Intermediate Medical Care/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a variety of stepdown patients with complex medical needs.
• Manage titratable drips including Nitroglycerine, Neo, and Cardene.
• Interpret and monitor tele strips for all patients.
• Collaborate with charge nurse and house supervisor for optimal staffing and patient care.
• Adhere to the unit's dress code and maintain professional appearance.
• Participate in ongoing education and unit-specific orientation.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of West Virginia.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Experience with stepdown patient populations and common diagnoses.
• Ability to titrate designated drips per unit protocol.
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system.
• BSN preferred, but not required.
