SUMMARY

Works with the Director of Sales and Estimating to promote C&J Industries to generate new sales and maintain existing accounts by performing the following duties.

Leads:

*Promptly gather research on all incoming leads to help determine if a lead is viable for C&J to pursue.

*Identify and establish new leads and new potentials by utilizing all resources at their disposal;

Company Research, Internet Searches, Trade Magazines, D&B etc.

*Review all research gathered on leads with Director of Sales & estimating within 24 hours of receipt.

Sales:

* Serves as “key contact” for assigned customer base.

*Must be able to effectively communicate C&J’s capabilities to customers, display or demonstrate product, using

samples, literature or power point presentations to emphasize salable features.

*A valid driver’s license is required and the ability to travel an average of 0% to 20% of work week

to assigned customers to call on regularly and prospective customers.

*Must be able to effectively communicate C&J's capabilities to customers, display or demonstrate

product, using samples, literature, or PowerPoint presentations to emphasize salable features.

Communications:

*Provides meaningful feedback and communicates with the Director of Sales and Estimating on a routine basis.

*Coordinates potential customer visits with appropriate C&J department, providing customer

service in a prompt, courteous manner.

*Reports competitive trends within covered markets.

*Provides meaningful feedback on quotations.

Four (4) Year Marketing or Communications degree; or three (3) to five (5) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as non-disclosure agreements, request for quotes and information, customer contracts, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate and negotiate with internal and external customers and vendors in a clear and concise manner.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percents, create and interpret bar graphs.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to problem solve.

Must be proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe.

Must maintain a high level of professionalism in behavior, attitude and personal appearance as well as in difficult situations.
