Nurse Practitioner (Part-Time, Float) - Convenient Care / Urgent Care

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team in a part‑time float role supporting Convenient Care, Urgent Care, and Walk‑In Clinic locations across Missouri and Kansas. This part‑time float does not have a permanent clinic, but will travel to any of the eight convenient care and three urgent care locations throughout the Kansas City metro. The schedule is variable to cover vacations, absences, or to help with volumes at busy locations. Part‑time APPs work 24 hours a week, with some opportunity for more hours if desired. This position is ideal for a provider who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and values autonomy in delivering high‑quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care in retail and urgent care clinic settings Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans Perform, order, and interpret diagnostic tests Diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic conditions Deliver health maintenance, disease prevention, and wellness education Support health promotion initiatives within the clinic setting Utilize strong critical thinking and clinical decision‑making skills Float between clinic locations and adjust scheduling to meet patient demand and market needs Qualifications Licensed Nurse Practitioner (APRN) in Missouri and Kansas (or ability to obtain) National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC) Ability to practice independently within scope Flexibility to travel between clinic locations Strong communication and patient engagement skills Preferred Experience Ideal background in urgent care, convenient care, or retail clinic settings Experience in Emergency Department (ED), Med‑Surg, or ICU settings New graduates are encouraged to apply if they have prior RN experience in ED, Med‑Surg, or ICU Less than one year of experience (Advanced Practice Provider certification, MO/KS) Basic Life Support certification – American Heart Association or Red Cross Master’s Degree Compensation & Benefits Competitive base pay, with eligibility for a quality incentive program and productivity bonus Flexible part‑time schedule (24 hours/week) with 12‑hour shifts and a predictable every third weekend rotation Opportunity to work across diverse clinical settings Supportive and collaborative care environment Equal Opportunity Employer Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
