Company Overview With more than 300 locations worldwide, The Little Gym is the world’s premier enrichment and physical development center for kids 4 months through 12 years. It offers parent/child, pre‑K, and grade school programs that teach gymnastics, dance and sports prep, camps, and birthday parties. Applicants must be available to work evenings and at least one weekend day consistently. Job Summary Lead Teachers work closely with the Program Directors and Gym Director, primarily responsible for teaching gymnastics classes aligned to a child‑development curriculum. The Lead Teacher spends about 90% of time teaching, with the remainder devoted to daily operations, building a team, and ensuring outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Teach amazing classes based on the proven curriculum and teaching method. Provide outstanding customer service and membership experience. Oversee the breadth of programs to meet high standards. Complete daily tasks (phone calls, texts, emails, attendance, cleaning, payment collection, inventory, equipment maintenance). Manage gym instructors, delegate tasks, and communicate information clearly. Build gym enrollment by championing the philosophy and programs during intro visits. Schedule lead and assist instructors for classes, birthdays, camps, and special events. Lead team trainings and meetings in collaboration with the Assistant Program Director and/or Regional Director. Handle customer queries in a professional and courteous manner. Post gym announcements and social‑media content. Develop special events and share ideas for member engagement. Lead marketing efforts for the gym. Perform other duties as assigned by Directors or Owners. Work with the Gym Director to ensure unified leadership communication and experience. Qualifications Background in child development, physical education, and/or gymnastics is a plus. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work evenings (3-7 pm) and weekends. Positive, energetic attitude and willingness to be a team member. Interest in career growth into a Gym Director role.
