Department: Architecture Location: Minden, NV We are seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, technical expertise, and a passion for innovative design to every project. From concept development to construction documentation, you’ll play a key role in shaping spaces that inspire and endure. This position will be on-site, Monday - Friday in our Minden, NV or Reno, NV offices. Key Responsibilities Develop design concepts and layouts for residential projects including high-end single-family homes, multi-family units, and renovations Create detailed drawings, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup Collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integrity and feasibility Conduct site visits and oversee construction to ensure compliance with design intent and building codes Prepare presentations and renderings for client meetings and public hearings Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring milestones are met Research materials, building systems, and sustainability strategies Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from an accredited institution Licensed Architect in Nevada or California (required) 5+ years of professional experience in architectural design Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and construction methods Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills Benefits The comprehensive benefits plan offered by Wilson Engineers exceeds industry standards, and is aimed at meeting each employee's personal and professional expectations.
