ServiceNow Engineer

Platform Development & Configuration

• Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules
• Develop workflows, forms, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and integrations
• Build and maintain Service Catalog items and automated fulfillment processes
• Configure ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and CMDB

Scripting & Automation

• Develop and maintain JavaScript-based server-side and client-side scripts
• Create Flow Designer workflows and process automation solutions
• Develop REST/SOAP API integrations with third-party systems
• Automate manual operational processes to improve efficiency and service delivery

System Administration & Maintenance

• Manage platform upgrades, patches, and release deployments
• Monitor system performance, security, and platform health
• Troubleshoot platform issues, defects, and production incidents
• Maintain user roles, groups, permissions, and access controls

Integration & Data Management

• Integrate ServiceNow with HRIS, ERP, monitoring, identity management, and cloud systems
• Support CMDB administration and data integrity initiatives
• Develop import sets, transform maps, and data migration processes
• Maintain API connectivity and middleware integrations

Requirements Gathering & Solution Design

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather technical and business requirements
• Translate business needs into scalable ServiceNow solutions
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews
• Recommend best practices aligned with ServiceNow standards and governance

Testing & Documentation

• Perform unit testing, system testing, and support UAT activities
• Document technical designs, configurations, workflows, and procedures
• Create knowledge articles and operational support documentation

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 application support
• Resolve production issues and service requests
• Identify opportunities for platform optimization and enhancement
