Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP / CRNP) — Child, Adolescent & Adult Psychiatry Billings Advanced Psychiatry, PLLC — Billings, Montana About Us Billings Advanced Psychiatry is a physician-owned interventional psychiatry clinic specializing in treatment-resistant psychiatric illness. We serve a broad catchment across rural Montana, including veterans and American Indian communities, and operate a REMS-certified esketamine (Spravato) program alongside active IRB-approved clinical research. We are expanding to meet growing community demand and are seeking a motivated psychiatric nurse practitioner to build a practice with us. The Role This is a growth-oriented position with two primary clinical responsibilities from day one: 1. Child, Adolescent & Adult Psychiatry Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults, with a particular focus on ADHD assessment and treatment. Experience preparing school-related documentation (504 plans, IEP support letters, accommodation recommendations) is essential. 2. Forensic & Independent Evaluations Conduct court-ordered evaluations and other independent psychiatric evaluations of adults (e.g., disability, fitness-for-duty, pre-employment, and related assessments). Prior evaluation experience preferred; training and mentorship available for a strong clinical candidate. Growth Opportunities For a provider who demonstrates excellent performance in the core roles, additional responsibilities and revenue streams are available over time: Administration of long-acting injectable antipsychotics Participation in our Spravato (esketamine) program Involvement in clinical research, including anticipated psychedelic-assisted therapy trials (Phase 2–3) Potential future IV ketamine services This is a rare opportunity in the region to combine outpatient psychiatry with interventional treatments and clinical research. Qualifications Current certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) Minimum 2 years of psychiatric practice experience as a nurse practitioner Active or eligible Montana APRN licensure with prescriptive authority; active DEA registration Experience treating children and adolescents, including ADHD diagnosis, treatment, and school documentation Experience with (or strong interest in) forensic and independent evaluations Excellent documentation and communication skills Comfortable working independently in a collaborative, physician-led practice Compensation & Structure Compensation is 40–50% of net collections, depending on experience — the practice covers all overhead, billing, and malpractice insurance, so your income grows directly with your panel, supported by strong referral flow from an established practice with existing demand As the position grows to full time, benefits will be added, including PTO, paid holidays, and health insurance Physician collaboration and mentorship from a board-certified interventional psychiatrist Flexible scheduling as your practice develops Pathway to expanded clinical and research roles Billings Advanced Psychiatry, PLLC is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
