RN - Medical Surgical Nurse - Night Shift

Position: The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care, assessing, managing, and coordinating patient care activities during hospitalization. Responsibilities: Conducts patient assessments, develops and evaluates individualized care plans, administers medications, collaborates with healthcare team, documents care, and responds to changes in patient condition. Provides patient and family education, ensures safety, infection control, and adherence to policies. Demonstrates professionalism, teamwork, and commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice. Delivers age-appropriate, cost-effective, and high-quality service while respecting patient dignity and confidentiality. Maintains a safe environment, adheres to licensing and certification requirements, and participates in ongoing education and performance improvement activities. Qualifications & Skills: Valid RN license in applicable states, BLS certification, strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills, ability to adapt to changing demands, and a professional, compassionate approach. Knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and teamwork is essential.
