NDE Technician

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a NDE Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Huntsville, AL . Details for the position are as follows:


Title: NDE Technician
Location: Huntsville, AL
Duration: 6-months (Possible extension/conversion based on performance and budget)
Hourly Rate on W2: $40-$46/hr


Job Description:

• Apply nondestructive evaluation (NDE) methods/approaches, such as acoustic, electromagnetic, thermal, optical, and radiologic principles, in performing complex analysis and evaluation of parts, materials, processes, technology or equipment through research and testing to ensure safety, reliability and adherence to requirements and specifications.
• Leads, coordinates, and conducts complex analysis of failed parts and processes to reduce or eliminate future failures.
• Generates test plans, identifies, and categorizes failure, determines root cause and documents results and recommendations.
• Maintain compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations.
• Leads the proposal, development, and validation of revisions to procedures and specifications.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in Nondestructive Evaluation(NDE) is required.
• Experience with CATIA is required.
• Knowledge of computer aided design tools and systems is required.
• An active or interim security clearance is required.
