Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) with specialization in Telemetry is needed for a healthcare facility in Nashville, Tennessee. The position involves reading telemetry strips and managing arrhythmia readings and heparin distribution. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment. This is a night shift position, with scheduled hours of 12 per shift, and a minimum of 36 hours per week.

• Required Qualifications: Valid license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification or Medical Assessment Body (MAB), and a minimum of 0 years of experience in the specialty.
• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Additional Information: Compliance clearance is required 10 days prior to orientation. Travelers will be tested prior to orientation on arrhythmia readings and heparin distribution. Failure to pass testing will result in contract cancellation. The facility is able to cancel one shift every four weeks during the contract. Floating may be required within the scope of practice. Charge nurses or preceptors may be required, and this will be reflected on the practitioners timesheet. Orientation dates are set for various RN specialties including Emergency Department, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Forensics (Medical Surgical Telemetry), Intensive Care Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Postpartum, and Labor & Delivery.
