JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this job is to perform telephone sales and related data entry work involved in the initial and on-going sales of lottery games and products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contact GLC retailers via telephone to place orders for instant tickets and monitor instant ticket inventories for these retailers.
• Motivate retailers to maximize their sales
• Maintain daily records of telephone calls made and tickets ordered
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with retailers and GLC Sales Representatives.
• Determine distribution of ticket allocations and perform other related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma (or GED) required, Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing preferred,
• One to two years of telephone sales, customer service and data entry experience,
• Good organizational, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in operating telecommunications equipment and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite preferred.
• Previous experience in a call center is preferred.
• Qualifications may include any equivalent combination of skills, training and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this position.
