Procurement Manager

As a CBRE Procurement Manager, you'll be responsible for managing a team of employees responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing service providers for outsourced services. You will also assist a client or department with the development and execution of sourcing and procurement strategies. This job is part of the Procurement function. They are responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods, services, or raw materials from vendors and suppliers.

Provide guidance and support to account teams in areas of contract negotiations, vendor relationships, invoice disputes, escalations, and other procurement-related matters.

Develop and execute end-to-end sourcing strategies for outsourced services, ensuring strict alignment with client or departmental objectives.

Draft, review, negotiate, and maintain contracts and associated business documents in support of the purchase of goods and services.

Manage the end-to-end supplier and contractor certification process, including conducting periodic reviews of vendor performance and compliance.

Lead contract lifecycle management activities—including terminations, expirations, extensions, and renewals—ensuring full compliance with company standards and legal requirements.

Analyze spend data, supplier performance metrics, and service scopes to identify and execute opportunities for value creation and cost optimization.

Provide subject matter expertise on contemporary outsourcing practices and their strategic value.

Offer strategic input and lead/support RFP development and solution selection processes.

Navigate complex, high-pressure, and ambiguous situations with sound judgment, business acumen, and adaptability.

Drive success as measured by key performance indicators (KPIs), including cost savings achieved, supplier performance ratings, and stakeholder satisfaction scores.

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or N.A.C.M. certifications or eligibility preferred.
• Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
• Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
