Phlebotomist Test Coordinator – Charleston, SC Position Summary: The Natera Test Coordinator ensures a seamless testing experience for patients by scheduling and coordinating blood collection, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and managing all necessary paperwork for compliance. Primary Responsibilities Phlebotomy Services : Perform venipunctures; verify patient identity and requisitions; maintain specimen integrity with aseptic techniques; record collection details and maintain daily logs. Patient Care Coordination : Oversee and coordinate patient care services, manage administrative tasks (records, appointments), and align blood draw times with clinic requirements. Administrative & Operational Management : Liaise with accounts and sales, document interactions; respond to inquiries; resolve missing information; communicate delays; investigate and resolve escalated issues. Quality Assurance & Compliance : Follow CAP CLIA standards, legal regulations; maintain quality control logs; report process improvements; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Qualifications 5–7 years of phlebotomy experience, with oncology experience required. BS/BA degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required. Phlebotomy certificate as required by state regulations. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Professional standards compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams and patients.
