Director, Structural Heart Interventions

Northwell Health's Department of Cardiology is seeking a highly qualified and experienced physician to join their cardiac team at South Shore University Hospital as the Director of Structural Heart Interventions. This full-time role involves providing world-class care to complex cardiac patients, particularly in structural heart disease interventions. The successful candidate will contribute to a robust structural heart program and potentially engage in clinical research trials within a supportive and collaborative environment.Practice InfoSouth Shore University Hospital is a tertiary care cardiac program.The Interventional program offers all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including high-risk PCI, CTO interventions, MCS, peripheral vascular interventions, and pulmonary embolism interventions.The structural heart program includes high volume PFO/ASD, TAVRs, percutaneous mitral and tricuspid valve interventions.Ability to enroll in clinical research trials.Physicians will be employed as members of Northwell Physician Partners.CompensationCompetitive salaryAcademic appointment with The Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell is commensurate with credentials and experience.BenefitsBenefits packageRequirementsBE/BC highly qualified and experienced physicianBoard Certified in Interventional CardiologyBoard Certified in General CardiologyPassion for Structural Heart Interventional CardiologyMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in interventional cardiology with a focus on structural heart disease interventionsDemonstrated leadership and management experience in a clinical setting (preferred)
