About The Role The Senior Counsel serves as a key legal advisor to the business and provides practical, business‑oriented legal guidance across a broad range of commercial, corporate, regulatory, and operational matters. This role partners closely with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams to manage legal risk, support strategic initiatives, negotiate complex commercial agreements, oversee dispute management, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies.

What You’ll Do

Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a wide variety of commercial agreements including: customer contracts, master service agreements, supply and procurement agreements, and non‑disclosure agreements

Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation guidelines

Provide guidance on contractual risk allocation, indemnity, limitation of liability, warranties, insurance, and dispute resolution provisions

Provide legal support for strategic initiatives, business expansions, and other corporate transactions

Support executive leadership on significant legal and business decisions

Coordinate with outside counsel when specialized expertise is required

Advise on legal and regulatory requirements affecting the business.

Support compliance initiatives and promote adherence to corporate policies and ethical standards.

Manage pre‑litigation disputes and claims.

Oversee litigation, arbitration, and other legal proceedings with outside counsel.

Develop resolution strategies that minimize business disruption and financial exposure.

Partner with Human Resources regarding employment‑related legal issues.

Advise on employee relations, investigations, restrictive covenants, disciplinary actions, and terminations.

Additional Expectations

Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.

Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.

Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.

Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

What You’ll Bring

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.

5-10+ years of legal experience, including in‑house and/or law firm experience.

Significant experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.

Strong knowledge of U.S. contract law, corporate law, and commercial risk management.

Ability to provide practical, business‑focused legal advice.

Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills

High attention to detail and strong organization abilities

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and executive leadership

What You’ll Get

Pay range: 190,000 USD to 215,000 USD/yr. This role is eligible for a discretionary bonus.
