Day in the Life

At our Spartanburg, SC 29301 facility, you start your day reviewing project plans and safety protocols before teaming up with riggers and mechanics to position new equipment. You set anchor points, align shafts, level bases, and verify tolerances. When a machine hesitates, you diagnose the issue using schematics and measuring tools, correct it, and document the fix so the next shift has a clear handoff. By day’s end, the floor is clean, the work area is safe, and another installation is ready for production.

• Install, align, level, and secure industrial machinery and equipment to specification.
• Plan and execute rigging for installations on assigned projects, ensuring safe load handling.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems quickly and implement lasting solutions.
• Read and apply blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to guide work.
• Partner with cross-functional teammates to streamline processes and boost throughput.
• Keep the workspace orderly and compliant with all safety procedures.
• Record maintenance and installation activities and escalate notable findings to leadership.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in millwright or related discipline preferred.
• Demonstrated experience as a Millwright and Rigger.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting ability.
• Fluency in interpreting technical documents, prints, and schematics.
• Hands-on skill with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Clear communicator who thrives in a team setting.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including overtime as needed.
• Willingness to travel when projects require it; Per Diem provided during those assignments.
