Our Prep Cooks take pride in their craft and play an essential role in preparing high-quality ingredients that help create an exceptional dining experience for every guest. We encourage our Prep Cooks to continue developing their culinary skills, expand their knowledge, and build the versatility needed to grow within our kitchen team.

Location: St. Elmo Steak House

What You Will Do:

1. Prepare ingredients according to restaurant recipes, preparation standards, and portion specifications to ensure consistency and quality.
2. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation while following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
3. Properly label, date, store, and rotate prepared ingredients to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
4. Assist with daily food preparation, including chopping, portioning, measuring, and preparing ingredients for service.
5. Communicate with kitchen team members to ensure prep needs are met and stations are properly stocked for service.
6. Maintain a sense of urgency and attention to detail while completing prep lists and meeting daily production needs.

What You Will Bring:

• Minimum 1-year of high-volume Prep Cook experience
• Weekend availability required
• Experience in upscale dining preferred
