Team Lead – Junk Removal & Truck Driver
VETS Junk Removal & Dumpsters – Raleigh, NC
Overview
VETS Junk Removal & Dumpsters is hiring a Team Lead to help run daily jobs and lead a small crew. This role includes driving a truck and trailer, removing items from homes and businesses, and ensuring jobs are completed safely and efficiently.
Military veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.
This position will start part-time with the opportunity to grow into a larger leadership role.
Responsibilities
- Drive company truck and trailer to job sites
- Lead a small crew on junk removal jobs
- Remove furniture, appliances, and debris from homes and businesses
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Load trucks safely and maximize space
- Keep trucks and equipment clean
- Perform basic vehicle inspections
Requirements
- Clean driving record (required)
- Ability to drive a truck with trailer
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and leadership mindset
- Comfortable working outdoors
Preferred Experience
- Military service
- Driving box trucks or work trucks with trailers
- Crew leadership or supervisory experience
- Customer service experience
