Job Summary & Responsibilities As an Educator, you will be a vital contributor to the planning, coordination, and delivery of essential healthcare‑related educational and training programs. You will actively assist in scheduling and conducting diverse healthcare training programs, providing direct coordination and instruction in various initiatives, ensuring effective learning experiences for all participants. To support a professional learning environment you will: Ensure a professional and responsive atmosphere by greeting patients, visitors, staff, and physicians promptly and courteously. Refer to each individual by name when appropriate. Demonstrate knowledge of the hospital’s environment of care plans and programs, and respond appropriately to all safety and emergency signals and notifications. Demonstrate knowledge of State and Federal Regulations and JCAHO guidelines. Demonstrate sensitivity to the customer’s learning history and needs. Identify barriers to learning and make appropriate and sensitive adjustments accordingly. Complete and document a lesson plan based on assessments, focusing on all domains of learning and perform ongoing assessment as indicated.
