About the Role

Center for Executive Medicine (CEM), founded by former White House Physician Dr. Connie Mariano, is seeking a motivated and professional Business Development & Administrative Coordinator to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate with a degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or a related field who wants to gain hands-on experience working directly with leadership in a growing healthcare organization.

This is not a traditional marketing position focused primarily on social media, graphic design, or digital content creation. We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, developing ideas, solving problems, and helping create and implement business development and marketing initiatives.

You will work directly with company leadership to support growth initiatives while learning every aspect of the business. Leadership will provide guidance, priorities, and feedback, but we are looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects, researching opportunities, and presenting recommendations.

What You'll Do

• Assist with business development and membership growth initiatives.

• Research and identify partnership, networking, and referral opportunities.

• Help increase awareness of CEM throughout the Scottsdale and Phoenix communities.

• Coordinate community outreach activities, presentations, and networking events.

• Support growth of our Adult Care, College Care, and Youth Care membership programs.

• Assist with patient communications and administrative projects.

• Help improve internal workflows and business processes.

• Research new ideas and present recommendations to management.

• Represent CEM professionally within the community.

• Assist with additional projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Professional appearance and interpersonal skills.

• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.

• Comfortable speaking with individuals and small groups.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.

• Previous internship, leadership, customer service, sales, or business development experience is a plus but not required.

Work Environment

This is a full-time hybrid position . During the onboarding and training period, the successful candidate will spend time in our Scottsdale office working closely with leadership and the administrative team. After onboarding, the position will transition to a hybrid schedule with a majority of work performed remotely while continuing to participate in scheduled in-office meetings, collaboration sessions, events, and projects as needed.
