PET/CT Technologist

Key Responsibilities

• Perform PET/CT imaging procedures across a variety of settings, including outpatient centers, mobile coaches, and hospital-based facilities
• Ensure patient safety through pre-screening for contraindications, aseptic injection technique, and adherence to radiation safety regulations and documentation requirements
• Interpret physician orders and select appropriate software options and imaging parameters to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Communicate effectively with patients, customers, and radiologists throughout the imaging process
• Troubleshoot scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment including monitors, PACS, and related systems
• Train new technologists and support staff as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Radiology/CT Technologist license in the state of New Hampshire
• Nuclear Medicine certification through ARRT or NMTCB
• Minimum of 1–2 years of PET/CT experience
• Proficiency with PET/CT equipment, including GE Discovery units
• Knowledge of radiation safety regulations and proper handling of radioactive materials

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in multiple imaging environments, including mobile and inpatient settings
• Demonstrated ability to train or mentor new technologists
