Our teams design, implement, and operate solutions that help clients manage data, automate processes, and scale their businesses with confidence.You will work with industry experts, modern platforms, and evolving technologies, gaining exposure to real-world operational challenges and large-scale enterprise environments.How You Will Make an Impact Lead and coordinate the day-to-day work plan for the U.S. Client Service Fund Accounting team, managing workflow, priorities, and deliverables.Provide coaching, mentorship, training, and performance leadership to accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.Review and approve fund accounting deliverables, including P&L reporting, NAV calculations, pricing, and economic allocations.Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, partner capital statements, and other required client reporting.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.Develop and execute plans for new client onboardings, fund launches, reorganizations, and platform conversions.Resolve complex fund accounting and operational issues escalated by the team.Provide technical accounting guidance and industry expertise to both clients and internal stakeholders.Coordinate and manage the external audit process, working closely with auditors and clients to ensure timely completion.Partner with internal teams on strategic initiatives, including new product development, process improvements, system enhancements, testing, and implementations.Required Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field6+ years of fund accounting experience with a hedge fund administrator3+ years of leadership or people management experienceStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and hedge fund accounting principlesExperience preparing and reviewing financial statements, audit support, and investor allocationsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience with a broad range of financial instruments, including equities, fixed income, repurchase agreements, futures, foreign exchange, mortgages, or optionsSolid understanding of corporate actions and their accounting impactExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmentStrong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationshipsWhat Sets You ApartGeneva fund accounting platform experienceExperience leading client onboarding, fund launches, reorganizations, or platform conversionsDemonstrated success driving process improvements, operational efficiencies, or system implementations within a fund accounting environmentJoin SS&C, where innovation meets global opportunities. New York: The expected base salary for the position is between $78,000 USD to $165,000 USD. Other States expected base salary for the position is between $78,000 USD to $165,000 USD.
