Japanese Interpreter

Working remotely as an independent contractor, the part-time Tajik-English Phone Interpreter will handle on-demand calls, facilitating communication between Tajik and English speakers across various industries, while maintaining professionalism and cultural sensitivity. Key responsibilities Respond promptly to interpreting sessions and conduct interpretations in a professional manner Render accurate concepts and meanings in accordance with established interpretation protocols Maintain a professional demeanor and remain calm during emotionally charged or stressful calls Required qualifications Fluency in Tajik and English, with a strong understanding of cultural dynamics Education or work experience in language-related fields such as teaching, translation, or interpretation preferred Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills for high accuracy during interpretation Ability to remain neutral and objective, particularly during sensitive conversations Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
