Work Environment\n

This remote role allows you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while still being part of a collaborative team. As part of a school-based program, you will engage regularly with educators, parents, and mental health professionals, facilitating integrated support for students. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while ensuring that our clients receive timely support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and formulate individualized therapeutic interventions.

• Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and other healthcare providers to coordinate mental health services that address the needs of students and their families.

• Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities tailored to the client’s specific needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to students experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for healing.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment plans in compliance with legal standards and organizational protocols.

• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client care strategies and share insights, contributing to a collaborative approach to mental health support.

This role primarily focuses on school-aged children and adolescents facing various emotional and psychological challenges. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping students manage anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and trauma. You will work closely with families to ensure comprehensive support is accessible, facilitating connections between home and school environments.

Qualifications\n

• A valid LCSW license in good standing in the state of New Jersey.

• Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from an accredited institution.
