Key Responsibilities:

• Perform dental prophylaxis (cleanings), scaling, and root planing.

• Conduct oral health assessments, including periodontal charting and oral cancer screenings.

• Take, process, and interpret dental radiographs (x-rays).

• Apply preventive treatments such as sealants and fluoride.

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and overall dental health.

• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.

• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment.

• Assist the dentist during exams and procedures when needed.

• Stay current with continuing education and licensing requirements.
