Full-time Surgical Tech

Overview We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Surgical Technician to join our upscale plastic surgery center. The role involves handling instruments, supplies, assisting in circulating and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure, and monitoring conditions in the operating room while assessing the needs of the patient and surgical team. Typical schedule: 4 days a week between 6am and 6pm. Responsibilities Gathers, checks, and opens supplies and equipment needed for the surgical procedure. Sets up sterile back table and Mayo stand with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for the procedure. Anticipates the needs of the Surgeon by passing instruments and supplies during the procedure. Assists with draping the patient and establishing the sterile field. Cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization. Assists other team members with terminal cleaning of the room. Assists in prepping the OR for the next patient. Anticipates additional supplies needed during the procedure. Qualifications At least 2 years of Surgical Tech experience. Experience in plastics in a private office setting is a plus. Surgical Technologist Certification preferred. Confident and skilled. Knowledge of sterilization and processing. #J-18808-Ljbffr H/K/B Cosmetic Surgery
