Industry Investment Management Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a VP of Finance / Controller to take on a pivotal leadership role in overseeing the financial performance of a growing portfolio of data center developments. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including financial reporting, project finance, budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure oversight. This role is highly visible and demands close collaboration with investment, development, construction, and executive teams to ensure the financial health and scalability of the platform. Key responsibilities for the VP of Finance / Controller include leading monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, managing project finance and capital expenditure reporting, and preparing financial documentation for various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a background in data centers, infrastructure, real estate development, energy, or other capital-intensive industries, and possess strong financial modeling and analytical skills. Applicants for the VP of Finance / Controller position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, or project finance, with a preference for those holding a CPA, CFA, or MBA. The role requires a professional with a proven track record in managing budgets, forecasts, and executive reporting, and who is adept at improving financial controls, processes, and reporting frameworks. The VP of Finance / Controller will also be involved in supporting investment underwriting and financial modeling, and must be capable of monitoring project budgets, cash flow, and cost-to-complete forecasts.
