Formulation Technician II - Medicine C-shift (Nights)

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Formulation Technician II to operate manufacturing equipment on 12-hour night shifts at a pharma facility in North Carolina. The role involves producing softgel drug delivery products, monitoring machinery, conducting in-process testing, and maintaining compliance with GMP standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate EKATO machines to manufacture bulk products from pre-mixed ingredients
- Monitor equipment operation, troubleshoot issues, and maintain proper temperatures and settings
- Collect product samples and perform in-process quality testing
- Assist with room changeovers and support cleanup activities
- Perform other assigned manufacturing and related duties
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year manufacturing, operations, production, or laboratory experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Capability to interpret data, perform basic calculations, and troubleshoot equipment
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and overtime in 24/7 operations
Compensation: Competitive hourly pay plus 10% night shift differential, annual performance-based bonus, and annual merit increases
