But we all share one goal: to improve the world responsibly and safely.KBR Science and Space division is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to support Axiom Space and their Safety and Mission Assurance department.The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for inspecting aerospace flight parts, assemblies, and related documentation to verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. This role supports production and/or maintenance operations by identifying defects, documenting nonconformances, and ensuring proper disposition of quality issues.RESPONSIBILITIES:Inspect incoming material, in-process assemblies, and finished aerospace products for conformity to requirementsReview drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and inspection records for accuracy and complianceUse precision measurement tools and test equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and borescopesRecord inspection results, prepare nonconformance reports, and support corrective action activitiesVerify that work complies with AS9100, and/or internal quality system requirements as applicableCoordinate with manufacturing, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve quality concernsSupport audits, quality checks, and process verification activitiesMaintain traceability and proper documentation of inspection findings and product statusAssist with product and process qualification, inspection planning, and technical documentation reviewREQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Requirements: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructionsFamiliarity with inspection tools, measuring equipment, and basic quality documentationKnowledge of AS9100, and nonconformance processes is preferredAbility to read drawings, specifications, and technical documentationStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent GED minimum with 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience or a Bachelor of Science in engineering or related technical fieldYears of Experience: 5+ of related experiencePREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:7+ years of aerospace inspection or quality-related experience preferredExperience in aerospace manufacturing, MRO, or aviation maintenanceFamiliarity with first article inspection, receiving inspection, or final inspectionAt KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.
