Customer Service Representative – Bonded Warehouse
Schedule: B5 | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM
Pay Rate: $20.50/hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our Bonded Warehouse team in Carson, CA. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer support while coordinating import, storage, and export documentation in compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations. Candidates with experience in a Bonded Warehouse, CES, or Customs Brokerage environment are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Provide professional and timely customer service by responding to customer inquiries and requests.
Review and process customs documentation to ensure compliance with CBP regulations.
Submit required documentation to U.S. Customs.
Verify incoming and outgoing shipments by comparing bills of lading, invoices, picking tickets, and other shipping documents.
Process dock receipts, document shipment exceptions, and communicate updates to customers.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding inventory levels and freight availability.
Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Bonded Ledger.
Coordinate shipping methods based on customer requirements.
Assist drivers with merchandise pickup and delivery.
Process receiving and shipping documentation accurately and efficiently.
Perform high-volume data entry using Microsoft Excel with a high level of accuracy.
Prepare customer invoices for warehouse services rendered.

Qualifications

Previous customer service experience in a warehouse, logistics, transportation, customs brokerage, or bonded warehouse environment preferred.
Knowledge of Bonded Warehouse procedures, CES operations, or Customs documentation is a plus.
Strong data entry and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
