TETmedical (Ithaca, NY) is a pioneering diagnostics startup emerging from breakthrough innovations at Cornell University. Our team blends scientific, engineering, and clinical expertise to develop ultra-rapid diagnostic technologies, including the NSE-FAST platform currently in clinical studies. Our multidisciplinary team is seeking a highly organized Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day operational efficiency, cross-team logistics, and administrative execution as we advance breakthrough diagnostic technologies.
Role Overview: the Operations Coordinator will ensure smooth daily operations across research, manufacturing, quality, and administrative functions. You will work closely with scientists, engineers, and clinical teams to maintain high standards of efficiency, compliance, and communication. This role sits at the intersection of people, systems, and logistics-translating leadership priorities into actionable workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily operational activities across manufacturing, clinical, R&D and administrative teams.
- Maintain schedules, track deliverables, and ensure cross-team alignment.
- Support procurement, inventory management, and vendor coordination.
- Assist with documentation, compliance tracking, and quality-related workflows.
- Monitor operational gaps and proactively resolve issues before they escalated.
- Support onboarding and training logistics for new team members.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes and systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in operations, administration, life sciences, or related fields.
- Strong organizational and project-coordination skills.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
- Experience in biotech, diagnostics, or regulated environments is a plus.
