Job Description Job Description Senior Accountant – Real Estate / REIT Focus
We are seeking a Senior Accountant with strong real estate accounting experience and exposure to REIT or multi-entity accounting environments. This role will support a growing real estate portfolio and work closely with property operations, asset management, and finance leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Manage accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of real estate assets.
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial statements.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and provide reporting insights.
Assist with consolidated reporting and accounting for REIT and corporate entities.
Partner with property management and operations teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Support audits, cash management activities, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements.

Qualifications
4+ years of accounting experience, preferably within real estate, property management, REIT, or multi-entity environments.
Strong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and reconciliations.
Experience with property-level reporting and financial consolidations preferred.
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.

Preferred
Direct REIT accounting experience.
Experience with Yardi or similar property accounting software.
CPA or Masters degree in Accounting or Finance.
