Role: Business Analyst

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: Long Term

Responsibilities:

Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs.
Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies.
Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective.
Familiar with industry standard business process mapping, and reengineering.
Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc.
Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.

Minimum Requirements:

Required Skills

8+ years of experience interpreting laws, policies, procedures, and regulations (preferably Texas Vital Statistics).
8+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio).
8+ years of experience in project planning, coordination, and organization.
8+ years of experience applying business analysis methodologies.
8+ years of experience analyzing and evaluating complex IT applications, policies, and business issues.
8+ years of experience developing practical and innovative solutions to complex business and technical problems.
8+ years of excellent verbal and written communication skills with technical and business stakeholders.
8+ years of experience managing priorities, exercising independent judgment, organizing work, and coordinating team activities.
8+ years of experience building stakeholder relationships, facilitating discussions, negotiating, and resolving conflicts.
8+ years of experience reading, interpreting, and documenting policies while preparing reports and executive-level documentation.
8+ years of experience gathering, organizing, and analyzing business data to recommend solutions.
8+ years of experience maintaining statistical and accounting records and producing reports and data summaries.
8+ years of experience managing small-to-medium-sized projects.
8+ years of experience creating project work plans, schedules, and timelines.
8+ years of experience preparing work estimates, tracking project progress, and reporting project status.
