Senior Accountant

A leading manufacturing company is hiring a Senior Accountant to oversee general ledger activities, financial reporting, and cost accounting support. This individual will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy while driving process improvements across the accounting function.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare and review complex journal entries and reconciliations
• Support cost accounting and inventory valuation processes
• Analyze financial performance and prepare management reports
• Coordinate annual audit activities and provide supporting schedules
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
• Partner with operations and finance leadership on accounting initiatives
• Mentor junior accounting team members

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Manufacturing and cost accounting experience highly preferred
• CPA designation is a plus
• Strong ERP and Excel proficiency
