Project Coordinator III - Code Compliance

JOIN OUR TEAM AS A PROJECT COORDINATOR III
The Project Coordinator III is a non‑management position responsible for a range of professional and technical duties in support of foreclosure registration, billboard registration & renewal, operating permit renewal, inspection scheduling, and special project management. The role involves research and review of conditions of approval, stipulated agreements and other related documents, customer account research, developing and documenting policies and procedures, and managing public inquiries. It acts as a liaison between field operations, data management, and the administrative team to ensure seamless workflow and compliance with established policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, project and program management, contract review and compliance tracking, financial and budget analysis, and other related duties related to the administration of enforcement programs and processes. The Coordinator works with investigators across multiple departments and agencies, and has an understanding of minimum housing, demolition processes, and relevant state and local codes. Ensures accuracy of collected data. Assists with inputting data into the computer programs designed for retrieval of collected data. Acts as lead worker over extensive field work required for documentation purposes; maintains records and files on all phases of the operation. Coordinated inter‑ and intra‑agency presentations and activities. Performs complex research projects for grant opportunities, prepares recommendations for related grant actions, and may compose documents or program material related to grant programs. Administers the financial accounting and reporting system, including processing of application and inspection fees, accounts payable and receivable, requisition requests, reconciliation with county financial reports, generation of monthly financial reports, archiving of financial records, and annual property inventory. Maintains knowledge of general office duties, report and presentation preparation, documents, letters, filing systems, and memoranda. Ensures compliance with procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records based on statutory requirements. Possesses knowledge of Pasco County Land Development Code and Code of Ordinances. Understands the legislative process as it interrelates to County, State, and Federal governments. Applies high analytic and logical reasoning skills to address intricate and complex projects. Develops and maintains relationships with local stakeholders, C‑level private industry executives, members of the public, elected and appointed officials. Handles sensitive or confidential information and complex situations while coordinating multiple functions and attending to additional duties as required. Interprets applicable legislation, rules, and codes including the County's planning, engineering, development review, and building permit processes. Operates a computer using industry‑related software. Utilizes business English, office procedures, Windows, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel. Uses Accela and Smartsheet to produce metrics and other reporting.PHYSICAL SKILLS
Ability to communicate effectively using written, verbal, and visual communication.EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
Associate degree from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of project management and contract compliance experience, OR graduation from high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma and six (6) years of experience.LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, OR REGISTRATIONS
Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license.ADA STATEMENT
