Location: Remote

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)

Duration: 4-6 month contract

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to provide immediate, hands-on support to a growing finance team. This role is critical in alleviating bandwidth constraints and ensuring smooth execution of day-to-day accounting operations.

The ideal candidate is experienced, self-sufficient, and comfortable stepping into a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can quickly make an impact in an interim capacity, with the potential to transition into a long-term role.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting operations across multiple entities
• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Execute bank and account reconciliations accurately and efficiently
• Oversee and process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Maintain and manage accounting records within QuickBooks Desktop
• Support tracking and reconciliation of multiple funds and bank accounts
• Ensure financial data is organized, accurate, and audit-ready
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support accounting needs with minimal supervision

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience (no entry-level candidates)
• Strong proficiency with QuickBooks
• Hands-on experience with:
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Bank and account reconciliations
• Ability to work independently and execute tasks with minimal direction
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with investment funds, debt funds, or multi-entity structures
• Understanding of capital flows and fund operations
• Background in lending or financial services
• Exposure to complex entity structures and high-volume bank accounts
