This is a hunter-mindset role with relationship-builder responsibilities - ideal for a sales professional who thrives on closing new business, retaining and growing existing accounts, and being the trusted face of Butler Plus in their market. - Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, and referral cultivation within the multifamily industry across core business, additional services, and pest control offerings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Property Managers, Regional Supervisors, and key decision-makers across your assigned territory.
- Present detailed, value-based proposals that clearly demonstrate Butler Plus's service quality and financial impact.
- Close new business while consistently meeting or exceeding revenue and gross profit targets.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution.
- Retain and expand existing accounts through proactive client engagement and regular service review.
- Attend industry events, affiliate with local apartment associations, and participate in networking opportunities to increase brand presence.
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasting, and account data within Salesforce.
- Stay current on multifamily industry trends, competitive activity, and market shifts.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Two (2) to five (5) years of successful Business-to-Business sales experience in the pest control industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and gross profit goals.
- Strong cold calling, prospecting, and closing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to present confidently to property-level and executive audiences.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a territory independently.
- Proficiency with computers, iPads, CRM platforms, and standard sales technology.
- Ability and willingness to travel within your assigned territory.
- Multifamily industry experience.
- Existing relationships with property management companies or ownership groups.
- Salesforce experience.
- Experience selling a service-based offering with a recurring revenue model.
