We empower consumers and developers alike to use and access our state-of-the-art AI models, allowing them to do things that they’ve never been able to before.Across OpenAI’s enterprise product suite, it is critical to offer organizations the technology to securely establish, connect, and manage people and non-human identities across OpenAI products. The Enterprise Identity team builds shared identity foundations and enterprise controls for authentication and federation, provisioning and lifecycle, secure access, session management and revocation, administration, auditability, and access visibility so identity and access can be governed consistently across products. We build the foundational systems that enable organizations to adopt OpenAI products with confidence.. Our work underpins enterprise security, IT integration, and the safe deployment of AI at scale, making sure the right people have the right access at the right time.About the Role:We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager for OpenAI’s Enterprise Identity product efforts. You will lead efforts to deliver critical capabilities such as SSO, SCIM, and identity federation across all OpenAI products, enabling enterprises to securely manage users, data, and access in complex organizational environments.This role requires close collaboration with engineering, security, GTM, and customer-facing teams to ensure our identity systems meet the needs of organizations ranging from high-growth startups to the world’s largest enterprises. Your work will directly enable safe, large-scale enterprise adoption of frontier AI.This position is based in San Francisco, CA, with relocation assistance available.In this role, you will:• Define the strategy and execute the roadmap for enterprise identity, spanning SSO, SCIM, and advanced admin controls.• Partner with customers and internal teams to design features that meet diverse enterprise security and compliance needs.• Collaborate with engineering and GTM to evolve the enterprise identity data model for complex organizational hierarchies and administration models.• Lead cross-functional efforts to integrate enterprise identity across ChatGPT, API, and new product surfaces.• Establish and track KPIs to measure product success, adoption, and reliability.You might thrive in this role if you:• Have 10+ years of product management experience leading large-scale enterprise products.• Have strong product judgment and can simplify complex problems.• Work effectively with technical teams and ship high-quality products.• Are analytical, user-focused, and an excellent cross-functional communicator.• Care deeply about using AI to improve how businesses operate.About OpenAIOpenAI is an AI research and deployment company dedicated to ensuring that general-purpose artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity.
