We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to support essential day-to-day finance operations for a team based in Tukwila, Washington. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who can manage payables, receivables, billing activity, and account balancing with accuracy and consistency. The role calls for someone who can help maintain reliable financial records and contribute to smooth accounting workflows.

Responsibilities:
• Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documentation, and coordinate timely payment of approved obligations.
• Manage incoming customer payments, apply cash receipts accurately, and follow up on outstanding balances as needed.
• Prepare and issue billing documents, review charges for accuracy, and resolve discrepancies related to invoicing.
• Reconcile account activity by comparing internal records with statements and investigating variances to completion.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and update accounting records to support reporting and audit readiness.
• Assist with routine accounting tasks that keep monthly and ongoing financial operations accurate and current.• Hands-on experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Working knowledge of billing processes and invoice administration.
• Ability to perform account reconciliations with strong attention to detail.
• General accounting experience with an understanding of core financial procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal and external contacts.
