As a Patient Access Technician, you will: • Facilitate patient enrollment in outpatient programs through accurate capture of patient information (clinical and demographic) via electronic and paper means • Answer phones and perform scheduling functions courteously and promptly using customer-centered language • Assist the therapy team members with the delivery of hands-on care as directed and instructed • Maintain the department's cleanliness and supplies through cleaning, organizing, stocking, and ordering materials and supplies • Participate in tasks such as faxing, scanning, report generation, and other administrative tasks as requested and instructed • Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications include: • High School Diploma or equivalent required, associate degree in a health-related field preferred • Preferred 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role in healthcare Work Schedule: Employment Type: Full-time Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week Typical Daily Schedule: 8:30am-5:00pm Shift Type: Day Weekend Requirements: No Shift Differential Eligible: No Pay Range: $19.21 - $24.90 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
