Senior Accountant

This role plays a vital part in the company’s financial management working with various department to gather and interpret various pieces of the financial picture. Responsibilities include collaborating with the Operations, Legal and Site Leadership. Full-Time/Benefits Eligible Monday - Friday - 8am - 5pm Westerville, OH

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyze monthly expenses and prepare accruals as necessary. Prepare and distribute financial reports to group leadership and individual shareholders using financial software and supporting reports from support staff. Work with group leadership to prepare financial forecasts and budgets. Meet with and provide support to shareholders via data analysis and projections. Prepare monthly journal entries. Prepare, send, and track monthly invoices and work with partners to ensure payment is received. Prepare and maintain schedules such as prepaid analysis and account reconciliations.

Education, Licensures & Certifications Required: BS in Accounting or Finance Required: Minimum of 3-5 years accounting work experience Required: In depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills.
