Secondary (Good to Have) Experience in the energy or renewable energy industry. Knowledge of accounting, risk management, or insurance claim processes. Experience working with senior leadership, external adjusters, and cross-functional teams. Position Overview The Property Claims Specialist is responsible for managing the organization's Property Claims Management Program, including property loss and business interruption claims. This role oversees claim activities from incident reporting through recovery, coordinates with internal teams and external consultants, and supports financial tracking and claim resolution to ensure timely and successful recovery. Claims Management Manage day-to-day property loss and business interruption claims. Coordinate claim activities with Operations, Maintenance, adjusters, and claims consultants. Prepare and submit claims documentation and support claim recovery efforts. Provide required information to adjusters to facilitate claim resolution and closure. Track claim-related financial information and recovery status. Prepare reports and maintain claim documentation. Support accounting and recovery reporting activities. Communicate claim incidents and recovery progress with internal and external stakeholders. Work closely with cross-functional teams to support claim management activities. Prepare reports, documentation, and other claim-related communications. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in claims management. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the energy or renewable energy sector. Experience managing complex property and business interruption claims. Strong stakeholder management and leadership abilities. Professional onsite office environment in Andover, MA. Frequent collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Accounting, adjusters, and claims consultants. Fast-paced environment supporting enterprise property claims and recovery activities. Physical Requirements Approximately 80% sitting and 20% standing/walking. Frequent computer, documentation, and communication activities. Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
