Director of Government Relations and Public Funding Job Title: Director of Government Relations & Public Funding Location: Open to US-based candidates. Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Austin, TX area) or remote (Other locations) Travel: 50% Compensation: $135,000 base salary + $55,000 bonus Required Skills: 10+ years of experience in government relations, public funding strategy, industrial policy, or strategic business development. Proven track record navigating federal funding ecosystems, appropriations, and public-private partnerships. Active network within key federal agencies (DoW – formerly DoD, DoE, DoC). Familiarity with IRA, IIJA, NIST, and state-level incentive programs. Preferred Skills: Industry background in advanced manufacturing, additive manufacturing, defense, or clean energy.
