Role MRI Technologist Assistant Responsibilities Support remote MRI Technologists by monitoring patients during scans, assisting with equipment setup, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Directly oversee patient safety, positioning, and comfort, providing immediate response to medical or discomfort changes. Maintain clear communication with patients and remote staff, report concerns, and facilitate smooth patient transitions between zones. Assist in equipment handling, including selecting coils and setting up or breaking down MRI equipment, ensuring safety compliance. Respond promptly to emergencies, following protocols to safeguard patient well-being until medical help arrives. Stay informed about MRI procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines, providing feedback for process improvements. Qualifications & Skills Prior experience in MRI or medical imaging preferred; CPR certification required. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to follow detailed instructions. Calm under pressure, quick responder in emergencies, with understanding of MRI safety protocols. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in radiologic or MRI technology are advantageous. Ability to stand or remain near patients for extended periods and assist with positioning and transport. Completion of Alpha RT MRI Tech Aide Certificate Program within 30 days of employment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
